You Ask, I Answer

So by now many of you have discovered that one of my strengths in both my professional life, as well as my personal life, is that I love to research technical questions. As I have stated quite clearly in my disclaimer, please keep in mind that I am not a doctor, and therefore I can not diagnose, perscribe, treat, cure, etc any medical condition that you may have. If you are dealing with a medical condition or disease, please be sure to consult with a licensed medical practitioner before embarking on any alternative modalities. Remember, natural does not always indicate safe!

That said, over the years I have spent countless hours sharing the benefits of nutritional supplementation and how they can support and maintain the structure and function of the human body. I have written many an email and posted many a thread detailing the healthful rewards of a healthy diet. Knowing that no question is a stupid one, and that many people will ask similar things, I always kept a file of the answers as I wrote them.

So, with my new site I knew that I’d have to post these archives as a resource for both myself and my clients. On this page (see the bulleted list) you will find links to the many questions I’ve been posted, and answers I have given. On the left sidebar you’ll note that I have also subgrouped Q&A for several specific topics including the Raw Diet as well as Cleansing and Weight Loss. Each subgroup contains plenty of material for your reading pleasure.  Don’t see what you need?  Search the archives.

Remember, this is my life’s joy, if you fail to find the FAQ you want answered here, please, feel free to ask Cassy first!  Thanks for surfing in!

PS. One of the commonly asked questions I get is actually not related to health. The question is, “Why did you name your site, ‘Ask Cassy First’?” I smile as I consider this, and figured I’d be smart to answer the question here in a public spot. No, I’m not so high and mighty to think that I’ve got all the answers, far from it! I seek to be humble, although I do believe that celebrating one’s talents is not an issue, so long as it is done properly and with honest thankfulness.

So then, why did I choose the name? Simply put, at one of the last jobs I had the staff would always tell the customers in the supplements isle, “Ask Cassy.” And since I’ve continued to work hard to grow my technical knowledge about vitamins, minerals and nutrition, even at my current office, the joke often is, ‘Ask Cassy first, she’ll know the answer.’

I love my work, and I love helping others. I feel as though I have been given a gift to remember technical information, and be able to communicate it to others, articulating detailed concepts in a simple to follow manor. In celebration of that gift, I return the favor by passing on what I’ve learned to you, my clients. Thank you for the opportunity!
