Raw Food Diet Articles and Q&A
This page will house the answers and commentary of many of the RAW diet questions I have been posed over the years. I decided to separate it out from my other Q&A as many of you visiting my site are specifically researching the Raw and High-Raw diets.
If you don’t see your questions answered here, remember no question is a silly one. If you still need help, be sure to ‘ask Cassy first’.
If you are looking for my Raw Food Diet Journal, click HERE. You’ll see that I started documenting my raw food challenge on December 28th, 2004, although by that time I had been eating that way for over a year and a half. Once you reach that page, you can follow my progress by using the calendar link you’ll see on the right. If you want to see a transformative picture of how raw helped me gain better health, click HERE.

Here’s an inspiration thought about the benefits of a healthy raw diet. The quote is from Jinjee Talifero, of the www.thegardendiet.com. I had this posted to my wall for a long time. Keep in mind, she is right, we need not concern ourselves on how long we will be following a special diet. (In this case the raw diet) Instead, think about how you feel while you eat in this new healthy way! A watched pot will never boil, and if you obsess and get caught up in the concept of ‘time’ and ‘diets’ and ‘when will this be over’ you’ll never reap the true benefits of your hard work.
Rather than being concerned with how long we are going to live on this diet perhaps it is more important to ask “how is my quality of life today because of this diet?”….Am I running, jumping, diving, swinging from vines, creating, having fun, and am I full of energy, love and beauty? Quality of life is a true instant test and immediate goal of ones diet and other health practices. In fact on another level our health practices and our enjoyment of life become merged so that in our enjoyment of movement, nature, fresh air, food, sleep, water, love, work and play we are doing both our health practice and partaking of the greatest joys in life.
